Instead it simply utilizes your smart phone or tablet to control the process. Load the document, scan the QR code, and send the document directly to your desired destination. The only choice you have to make, is where you need the documents - PageDrop handles the rest. PageDrop is a Web App

As a Web App PageDrop is supported on any smartphone or tablet with a QR reader and a browser.
PageDrop can be added in your iOS device (iPhone, iPad etc.) as a web App. Once you have scanned the QR code simply select "Add to home screen" in your iOS browser to create the Web App icon. Now you can bring up PageDrop directly from you iOS device whenever you need a scan.
On your Android device the same is possible. Simply add the webpage to your favourites. From there you can add them to your start menu.

More to come... As a Web App new destinations and features can be added without the need for updating your scanner. They will appear as soon as they are implemented on our PageDrop servers.

 

PageDrop is secure

PageDrop includes a new pending patent that ensures a secure method for QR codes and Web Interfaces. PageDrop will only allow you to scan if you are in front of the scanner.

i1 profiles from X-Rite Using X-Rite generated profiles ensures the highest possible color accuracy for the demanding customers. X-Rite is the global leader in color science and technology.
		Adobe RGB, Device RGB and sRGB Contex IQ series scanners have several different options for color space. In addition to the common sRGB the IQ scanners also offers color spaces with wider gamut as preferred by color specialists. Adobe RGB and Device RGB has a larger color gamut than sRGB, hereby allowing differences in very bright and saturated colors to be maintained in the file.

Contex Natural Light IQ scanners use new CIS modules with dual diffusion. By using correct diffusion in IQ scanners you get the most natural light in any CIS scanner.   Natural light is diffused light that creates soft shadows. Single sided LED light traditionally causes hard shadows. Dual sided LED light normally creates 2 hard shadows.   Contex New Dual Diffusion CIS Modules in IQ scanners ensures the must natural representation of any image.

New CFR Technology Contex innovative Color Fringe Removal has been further improved with the IQ scanners. Color fringe is a result of CIS scanners using flashing red, green and blue LED lights. This causes black lines and text to have colored edges especially when scanning at lower resolutions. Thanks to Contex innovative thinking this effect has been completely removed in the IQ scanners with CFR. Nextimage Scanning Software

Nextimage software delivers a complete set of tools to ensure image quality for both archival and printing. Never before has it been so easy to get professional results - with minimal adjustment.

Auto-generated 8-bit color palette lets you automatically generate a palette from the existing 24-bit scan.		Scan Preview Gives you a rolling 1:1 view of your file as you scan so you don’t have to wait to find out if you need to adjust resolution, sharpness, or color settings. It makes a quick low resolution preview scan.
ICC Color Management Nextimage supports ICC/ICM profiles. It can embed ICC profiles in scanned files, whether it is JPG, JPEG 2000 or TIFF, preserving colors when files are loaded into other applications. You can also use ICC/ICM profiles to manage colors when making copies with Nextimage.		Intelligent Sharpen/Smoothing Filters   Nextimage is loaded with new image processing options. One of these is the smart new Smoothen filter that intelligently removes pattern noise without bluring the edges in the original. Combine it with the sharpen algorithm to get razor sharp results with smooth noiseless colors.
Closed Loop Calibration (CLC) Nextimage also comes with built-in closed loop calibration for managing colors when making copies. The CLC wizard helps you create a media profile that is optimized for the individual media in the printer. Simply print a reference pattern on your printer, and then scan it to create the perfect relationship between your scanner and printer.
